...Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks Simon Says..

As Christmas moves ever closer I was talking to some friends the other day in relation to how quickly things are flying by here. It popped up actually how long I have been in Thailand but more so just how long I have been here at Shenanigans. A couple more months and it will be 2 years. I can’t believe how quickly it has gone by.

It could be the fact that I have really enjoyed my time down here and I am still enjoying it. With some new things coming up over the next few months it is going to start getting very busy for myself and some of the staff as things start to increase in speed toward the new improved Shenanigans.

Planning is underway and I will keep everyone up to date how things are progressing as we move along. Now once that all kicks off it will be going real fast.
Anyway lets slow down and I will let you know what’s been going on at the pub last week. With a lay off week from the Shenanigans Very Friendly Golf Society. I have had time to look at the schedule for the rest of the year. Updates will be available on the web and I will also send them into the papers so we get back on line, and everyone knows where we are up to.

The sport this week has been a little bit grim with the only real highlight being the Moto GP race on Sunday. What a finish this is going down to the wire the same as the F1 which we will have live from 11pm next Sunday. This will be worth watching it will be a dogfight. Check our guide on the web page to keep up with what we are televising down here on the big screen.

Chef Sunny has been preparing some new specials to bring us into high season so look out for them I have tried a couple as head taster and all round food critic. It’s not very often I have said no to a meal.

We are also in the process of organizing a new band to bring in the high season. We are in talks with a couple of bands from Bangkok at the moment so get your groove on Shenanigans is back in the band business from the start of November.

Well that’s about all I have for you this week. Be good or be good at it.
