...Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks Simon Says..

What a week with the climax of the top 16 and then the top 8 battling it out for a do or die result. It has been very unfortunate for many teams over the last week with some heart breaking refereeing, and just some bad decisions.
Well life goes on for some with it all culminating next Monday morning in the final which I am sure will be great whoever is playing. It has been a great tournament and

as many of you know with my love for the sport it has been well lets just say an experience.
This is the first soccer ops I mean football world cup I have seen. I have watched more football in the last 4 weeks than I have in my entire life and know I know why I stick to rugby. Sorry!!!!!!!
On that note the Tri-Nations start next Saturday so we have plenty of great

international sport to keep the most avid sports fan happy. With our new bigger screen which welcomed in the world cup I have had plenty of comments that it is an improvement on the last one.
Shenanigans Very Friendly Golf Society had another outing last week to Laem Chabang. A close group of members attended the outing on courses B & C. with a pairs better ball as the format of the day.

Once again I was shunned with no one wanting to be my partner but by the end of the day had several cash offers for my brilliant score card were put forward.
There were some interesting scores in with first place winning on count back.
First Place: Larry and Ian
Second Place : Rich and Darren
Third Place: Rodger and Nik
A great day was had by all again and will look forward to the next one again at Laem

Chabang on the 18th of July. We do not have an outing on the 11th July which would be the scheduled day is the pub will be shut on the 10th and 11th for Buddhist Lent. So come join us for a round on the 18th July it’s always a fun event.
Well that’s me for another week I hope that if your team made it through this far in the football you go all the way. Goodluck
