Looks like low season is starting
to creep in with a few of our regular friends
saying goodbye over the past week, and heading
back to different parts of the world. So form
all the staff here at the pub we wish you all
a safe trip and hope to catch up with you again
soon.
Shenanigans Very friendly Golf Society
played again this week with a great bunch of guys
at Phoenix Golf Club. We had
6 groups tee off last week with a pairs combined
stableford being the order of the day. Some very
interesting scores also came out of the day with
the course playing a little bit harder than usual,
or everyone playing a little bit worse.
I myself had the best round of golf for the last
several months I broke 100 for the first time
in nearly 2 months and that is a milestone considering
that I play off 14. sometimes it all goes wrong.
I do have one friend that I blame personally for
this slump. I have come to the realization that
I have a choice continue to play golf at a level
I am happy with (this being 14) or lose weight
and go to the gym. I will let you all decide which
way I have gone.
Anyway a great day at golf and hope to see you
all there for our next outing at Burapha
on the 14th March.
Well the week in the pub has been another interesting
one with No international rugby I was slightly
lost although I am starting to take a bigger interest
in the premiership after all these years. The
rugby is back next week so it will be full steam
ahead with some pivotal games being played.
Check our flyers around the pub or on the web
site for all upcoming events.
