...Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks Simon Says

We are back on line this week after a few technical difficulties that made it difficult to post the diary last week. I screwed up trying to save the diary and somehow lost it. Now due to time restraint and the fact that I refuse to type it out again we are a week short. Never mind here we go again.

The Shenanigans Very Friendly Golf Society had it fortnightly event at phoenix last Tuesday the 22nd November with a great turn out of 36 competitors. We teed of slightly ahead of time as everyone was early and the course wasn’t too busy. The format was pair combined stableford. It was a great day with the weather staying lovely and cool with a slight breeze which seem to blow in a couple of good scores.

First: Terry and Rodger with 76 points
Second: Tom and Izzy with 69 points
Third: Martin and David with 61 (winning on count back)

A great day had by all again so don’t miss out on the next outing at Green valley on the 6th December with a pairs better ball.
Moving through the week we celebrated Thanksgiving on Thursday with a great big American style buffet. We had plenty of booking for the event but the amount of people that turned up was great to help celebrate this event. We certainly look forward to making it bigger and better next year.
Well the weekend arrived and Saturday night was filled with the echoes of the rugby world

again for the last time this year.
We will have to wait till the end of January for the 6 nations to kick off again.
Some great games of rugby were played to finish what has been a great series and year for international rugby. Some close games and some one that were expected to be blowout were closer than many expected.
Unfortunately I had my money on mostly the wrong team ( I can pick a spread about as well as I can pick a broken nose).

Back to the football in full swing with plenty of great games on the way. Remember that Shenanigans has some of the best coverage in town and show several more games than just what is televised on UBC.
Hope to see you all soon for a bevy coming into the Christmas period don’t forget we are taking bookings for Christmas eve and Christmas day NOW!!! So be early so as not to miss out on the time you want.

See the web site or posters around the bar for our famous Christmas buffet.
