...Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks Simon says..

Been another busy week down here at the pub I guess you are all getting bored with me saying that but it is true we have something happening just about every night. Now into the throws of high season we are kicking it up another gear.

Where to start?
Well we are happy to have a new band starting this week. The Soul Power Band are a great band which we have spent some time finding so they will be a great asset you will be able to catch them on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30 – 10.30 lets rock the house.
The new menu has taken off a storm with Sunny’s new creations topping the sales.
Don’t forget to come down for our Thanksgiving all you can eat buffet we have plenty of booking already but we always have room for more.
While still on this subject we are now taking bookings for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Shenanigans world famous Christmas buffet has just got better see the web site for details or the notice boards around the pub.
Lately our Free Wi-Fi has been getting the use it finally deserves we have set up this additional connivance for everyone to make your time at Shenanigans as comfortable and productive as we can. With the high speed ADSL and the comfortable setting it is a great place to surf the information highway or just check your emails.
Well the sport this week what can be said. I have never received so many emails, phone calls, text messages from all over the world telling me just how well I am doing in the rugby and to make it worse all Sunday seemed just to show the replays of that.
Not in my life time had Australia sunk to such a level in international rugby as this with 6 losses. The last time being 1969 (2 years before I made it into the world). Let alone 7 losses which goes back to 1956-58 where we had 9 in a row.

Apart from these demoralizing facts which so many people of late have pointed out to me there were several other sporting events held over the week. Several other rugby games with the Kiwi’s giving the Paddy’s a bit of a lesson, and a great match that went to the wire between the Scot’s and the Argies.
There was also several friendly football games with the Pom’s coming out on top of the Argies (just) and as usual and not unexpected at this point in time the Aussies losing to Uargary.

Not forgetting the golf with some incredible shots being played at the HSBC tournament in Shanghai. The SVFGS also played on Tuesday for a couple of holes before the rain came down. We weathered several showers before it all became too much and headed for the clubhouse for a shower. Don’t forget the next out at Phoenix on the 22nd November at 11am. Everyone is welcome to come and have a good time.
Well that’s me finished for another week catch you all on the flip side.
