...Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks Simon Says

Another interesting week has flown bye and it has suddenly dawned on me (reminded by a friend) that I have been at Shenanigans now 8 months. I tell you time certainly fly’s when you are having fun. I have had a great start to the year since I started down here at the pub. Great staff and great friend s and not forgetting all the new friends I have made to make this time just wiz bye.

We are ever evolving down here and am always happy to listen to comments and ideas to make things better for everyone so let me know any ideas that can help so that we can continue to improve on what is already one of the best venues in town.

Well this week the air has been thick with allsorts the tension in the air with all the sport that is hanging in the balance. On Saturday some of it tipped the wrong way again and I will still be crying in my beer until we come out victorious next year in the Tri-Nations next year after this years rebuilding effort (that is an excuse that I picked up off the English rugby supporters since they haven’t won much since the world cup). Onward and ever upward for the Aussies and our beloved rugby.

Now the comments are thick and fast about the impending 5th Ashes test due to start next Thursday. I have heard many rumors about 60million English praying for rain. I don’t think this will be enough for the Ashes to come back to the home of cricket but will be returning with the colonials once again. Hope to catch you all down for what is shaping up to be a great decider.

We have plenty of live sport for everyone this week with the premiership back in full swing . another F1 on Sunday, plenty of golf and a new season starting for the NFL. If you want it and it’s live you can have it down at the best pub in town.

See you all soon for a beer.
