Where has the time gone; another week has flown by. It seems like I only just sat at the computer writing last week’s diary. We have so many things going on down here it is hard to keep up sometimes.

The new menus are doing very well with a new extended breakfast menu, which seems to be keeping all the regular breakfast punters happy. Don't forget, anything on the new menu can also be ordered through the Door2Door house delivery service.

What a great week for sport we have had. All started with the Shenanigans Very Friendly Golf Society, who ventured out to Burapha last Tuesday. There were some stories coming back as to why things hadn't gone quite the way each team had planed for themselves. Unfortunately I couldn't play last week, but I heard the weather was terrible.

Thunderstorms, lightning strikes, and torrential rain. Well, that by itself should explain some of the unexpected hurdles. In Pattaya (dare I say) we had the most beautiful and hot sunshine with a cool and gentle ocean breeze to keep us all very comfortable indeed... But then the answer came from another team: that is what the boys needed to happen to account for the atrocious score that was handed in.

It was in fact a clear perfect day just right for most people.

Remember, the next SVFGS outing will be at Phoenix July 5th

Well, with Wimbledon in full swing every night and the rugby getting more intense, the air has been electric with anticipation waiting for the big games.

The first test on Saturday between the All Blacks and the Lions was a great game. We had a big turnout and the atmosphere was great. Sorry to all the Lions’ supporters, but better luck next week.

France - Magny-Cours

Don't forget, the upcoming test matches are later this week. Be early to get a good seat. We have plenty of action for everyone.

There are also plenty of upcoming events. Check the web site or the notice boards down here at the Pub.
