Shenanigans The Irish Pub's Diary - Archived
Week of May 2nd - 8th, 2005 by Simon Dutton
...I
Am Back! And Hello Again, Everyone.
Sorry about last week. Technical difficulties
in the office made it impossible to
get last week’s edition out and
it was also too hot for me to go outside
to a cafe which really hadn't crossed
my mind till it was too late. But anyway,
here it is!!!!
We have been busy
keeping up with all the technological
advances down here at the pub, trying
to make it easier and even more enjoyable
than before. Well, it is finally
up and running - the infamous Shenanigans’
FREE wi-fi. You can now bring
your laptop computer to the pub and
log on to our free internet connection
to surf the web - or download your
emails - for as long as you like.
Whether you sit in the comfortable
chairs in the library or anywhere else
in the pub, you can eat, drink, and
surf the super highway all at the same
time. No extra charge! We are always
looking for ways to stay up-to-date
and ahead of everyone else to make your
stay at Shenanigans all the more enjoyable.
Don't forget we
have also upgraded to a new projector
for our big screen. The comments I
have had over the past couple of days
are that it was money well spent.
The new projector has certainly improved
the quality of picture. Although the
last one wasn't bad, this one is great.
Well, it has been a busy couple of
weeks with the Funhill Cup being a great
success once again and a good time was
had by all. We have also had plenty
of sport over the past week with some
important premiership games for relegation.
The F1 again this week was an interesting
race with all sorts happening.
Coming
up this weekend Moto Grand Prix 1 on Sunday from
France - Le Mans
Don't forget the
Shenanigans Very Friendly Golf Society
is out every second Tuesday and having
a very friendly time while we are
out in the sun.
So pop down and see us at the best
and most technologically advanced Irish
pub in Pattaya!!!!!!
Have fun and catch you all on the rebound.
PS:
answer to the b/w picture of last week,
showing a world famous travel vehicle,
was Star Trek's Enterprise.
