it's all happening at Shenanigans
as we start to gear up for that very,
very green day St Patrick’s.
Don't forget the 17th March
(that's a Thursday
for those without a calendar), but
we all know that every day is a weekend
in this great town.

The Shenanigans VFGS played
last Tuesday, 1st March at Green Valley
with 23 avid golfer venturing out. The format
was a pairs better ball with - you guessed
it - little old me with a very transparent
partner who was not much help at all. (Cheers,
Rob, hope work was worth
it).
At the presentations back at the bar it
was no surprise to see why Gerry
Carpenter was organizing his partner.
Wink, wink, nudge, nuge, say no more.
Our winner team this week was:
Gerry Carpenter
and the lovely Saen Jardenwong
with a 44 Stableford points
2nd Mikael Anderson and
Nora Haugstedet with a
42, winning on count back
to beat Mark Guthrie, and
Big Scott coming in a broken hearted
3rd.
Another great day playing and an even better
time celebrating late into the night. Our
next outing is on the 15th March
at Phoenix 10am - 10 groups. Everyone
is welcome. We are always happy to have
new friend come and play.
Don't forget that Shenanigans is moving
into the future with a new satellite being
installed at the pub. This will give us
the best coverage of all the sport. We have
also installed 4 splitters so we can watch
up to 4 different channels at the same time.
