...Welcome one and all to this weeks edition of Simon Says

The week got off to a quick start with the Shenanigans Very Friendly Golf Society bi-weekly tournament with this week being a 4-man Texas scramble. We had 8 teams of 4 and the competition was fierce at the wrong end of the pack (which happened to be where MY team was AGAIN). Sorry boys.

The winners with 56 nett Chang, Mikael, Nora, Sam
Second Place with 60 nett Larry, Dennis, Ian, Carl
Third place with 60.7 nett Trevor, Mark, Scott, Izzy

A great day and night followed with the presentations back at the bar and the drinks flowed till the wee hours. Don't forget the next outing on March 1st at Green Valley. See our golf page on the web site or on the notice boards at the Pub.

Well, with that sort of start to the week where could we go from there? But it only got bigger. We had a great lead up to the weekend with all the friendly faces back in the bar once again, just too many to name. Valentine’s Day was a huge success at Shenanigans this year. The staff was rushed off their feet with Chef Sonny's specials rushing out the door. The staff was just about able to keep up. We had some beautiful couples in and a great night was had by all.

Well, NO Rugby last weekend is always a bit disappointing, but there was plenty of Football fans around, which keep the pub vibrating with cheering and some tears. The previous weekend we had some technical difficulties with Siphon losing super sports, but stay tuned. Us fans are never beaten and so we are looking at different ways to keep Shenanigans everyone's favourite venue for live sports going. With the Rugby back next week I will do my best to have as much live as I can.

Saturday 26th: 6 Nations Rugby - live on big screen
9.00pm - Scotland vs' Italy
11.00pm - France vs' Wales
Sunday 27th: 6 Nations Rugby - live on big screen
10.00pm - Ireland vs' England

We hope to see you all again next week for a beer or three.

Cheers
