I know it’s
not very Irish, but I can't help I'm
Australian. Welcome to another thrilling
weekly installment of Simon Says.

We started the
week very early with a Superbowl
party at 6:00am on Monday morning
with a large turnout at such a
respectable time, but hey, they
are American. It was a great game
with the New England Patriots
coming home the victors, but only
in the last couple of minutes.
The crowd was going wild coming
down to the wire. The 50 strong
crowd - mostly patriot supporters
- were extremely happy and full
after the huge amount of breakfasts
and nibbles that went out during
the game. A great start to the
week. |
| It
has been a bit different this
week with a lot of old time regulars
starting to migrate back to the
old drinking hole. I have met
so many of you this week, there
are just too many to name. I have
appreciated all your well wishes
and promises to return, so we
can all have another drink. Also
to anyone that has popped in and
I have not had the chance to meet
you, please come up and say hello. |

Coming into the
weekend we have the usual premiership
football matches over the weekend
along with all the rugby. Although
Saturday night got off to a rough
start for the rugby fan when I
have gone to change channels and
found out that our cable supplier
was not supplying the appropriate
sports channel anymore. After
the next 3 hours of apologies
and explanations, everyone was
relatively happy and we made do
with the delayed telecasts, but
we got through it all very well
with a lot of cheering and drinking. |
The
Shenanigans golf society has
now changed back to Tuesdays
from Wednesdays. This coming
Tuesday is a 4 man Texas scramble
at Phoenix. Check out the golf
link on the main page for all
details.
We hope to see you all again
soon at Shenanigans |

I'd rather kick the ball... |
