...Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks edition of Simon says

Never before ...
Never before were eyes so focused at the big
screen as this Saturday...
The week has progressed a little bit slower than usual due to the elections and the lack of drinking venues over the weekend, but on the other hand plenty of good times have come out of a very sobering weekend.

Just to keep everyone updated, the weekly specials here at Shenanigans are still going strong with some new additions. Check out the daily specials on the food and beverage page.

Shenanigans Very Friendly Golf SocietyThe golf on Wednesday saw the Very Friendly Golf Society at Sri Racha Golf club. The event for the day was Pairs Combined Stableford. We had a good turnout of 23 players most of who hacked their way around a very dry Sri Racha track. There were some very good scores and some very poor ones (mainly my team).

Breaking News concerning the Very Friendly Golf Society...

We are back to Tuesday starting with our very next
event:

TUESDAY 15th Feb.
Tee off 11.30am
format 4 man Texas Scramble
at Phoenix

Izzy Freedman
Izzy Freedmen hiding in the dark at the pub. Who wants to be caught with a coffee cup Saturday night at Shenanigans?
Mike Stuart and Patrick Taylor won with a very commendable 75 combined Stableford points. Gerry Carpenter and Graham Rudd second with a few less points, 65 to be exact. Robert Munroe and Izzy Freedman third with a close, but no cigar 64.

Keep an eye out for the next golf outing on golfing page of the web site...

The band on Friday had the place singing and dancing once again. It seems a weekly event now to have a couple of people help out the band.

The starting weekend of the Six Nations (schedule on news page) got underway with some very ordinary games - a lot of scrappy football played. I really think I noticed it more for this was one of the first times I have watched several games sober!!!! (got the diet coke - there actually is a limit as to how much soft drink one person can take). Never mind, next week for the second round we can all get back to boozing and enjoying our rugby.

That's about it for this week, very short, sweet and sobering. Until next week have fun and see you all soon at Shenanigans.

Cheers
Simon Dutton
