...Hi everyone and welcome to the next enthralling chapter of Simon Says.

Well, the hits just keep on coming. We have had another fantastic week here at Shenanigans. The staff and I have been flat out, once again welcoming old and new friends alike. A special hello goes out to everyone who has been into Shenanigans supporting the relief effort down in Phuket. We would also like to put out a warm welcome and thank you to the US service men and women out here helping. We hope you have been enjoying your time and food at Shenanigans.

The week started off busy, still carrying over from the previous weeks. We have had a lot of new faces and some old ones out of the cupboard come down to visit. A couple of big nights throughout the week have left me with a few morning hangovers to work through.

The Shenanigans Very Friendly Golf Society had its outing on Wednesday the 19th at Phoenix. We had 23 starters line up for the event, which went off without a hitch. We had a few new faces and some old ones and a great day had by all that I spoke to. After the golf everyone came back to the bar for a very quick presentation for the winners.

The next outing will be at Sri Racha Golf course on the Wed 2nd Feb. Check our Golf society page for details.

Friday night we had the new Shenanigans house band start with plenty of old and new tunes alike to keep us all tapping through the night. The band started at 7pm and went through till after midnight with a couple of the locals getting up and assisting with a few tunes. It is surprising how well some people can sing with a few words of encouragement from a few friends!!!

Friday was a busy night with a lot of the golfers who competed in the PCS Charity Classic. Many golf stories came out like "did you see that one shot I did?", followed by the reply "that was the only one you had all day". These team mates shall remain nameless as the conversation was going further down hill from that point. Anyway it was a great day and a lot of money was raised for the relief effort in Southern Thailand. I would personally like to thank the Sports Club and all their volunteers for making the Classic a great day and success.

Well, that about does me for another week. I will keep in touch next week.

Cheers
